What an all-encompassing view this is . . I see new settlement and highways but I believe the locals continue to cultivate the pre-Inca terraces !

@Ronnie 2¢: The only road across this place is a very rough dirt road and you're right about the terraces still cultivated the same way as the Incas. Actually, Canyon de Colca has the highest concentration of cultures on terraces in the whole world!
